DERMOT CROWLEY
DERMOT CROWLEY plays the noble General Crix Madine in "Return of the Jedi", as well as the villainous Major Kamp in "Octopussy". He has worked with some of the great Hollywood directors, including Robert Redford "The Legend of Bagger Vance", Blake Edwards "Son of the Pink Panther", and he has just finished filming Alejandro Gonzales Inaritu's new movie "Babel" with Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett. His other films include Staggered, Little Dorrit, Before You Go and Giro City. His many television appearances include Falling for a Dancer, Jonathan Creek, Trial and Retribution,Rebel Heart, and Murder Rooms. He is currently filming Charles Dicken's Bleak House for the BBC. Dermot's extensive stage work includes seasons at the National Theatre, the Royal Shakepeare Company, as well as many appearances in London's West End, and on Broadway.He is also a frequent broadcaster on BBC Radio,and has recorded many audio books, including Samuel Beckett's Molloy to great acclaim.
